How Ocelots Support San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance

Ocelots are donors and volunteers who enthusiastically support the mission of San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance through active involvement and a commitment to education and fund-raising. Ocelots donate funds to the Ocelots Grants Program, which allows departmental recipients of the grants to purchase much-needed enrichment for wildlife and special pieces of equipment.

Ocelots act as well-informed ambassadors throughout the community, helping to promote San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance's excellent work and goals for the future.

What We Do

As an Ocelot, you will experience an insider's look at the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. You will meet key staff members and have many chances for close and personal visits with rare and endangered animal species through the education programs and behind-the-scenes tours. You will also receive the Oceletter newsletter.

One of the most popular activities is the opportunity to attend bimonthly dinner education programs, highlighting presentations by experts from the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Ocelots also coordinate special events, behind-the-scenes tours, and new habitat previews for their members.
